Evening before surgery
2 packages of PREPARE.

Morning of surgery
1 package of PREPARE up to 2 hours before anesthesia.
400mL
Mix with water
Mix 1 package into 13.5 fl oz (400 mL) of water. Drink entire contents immediately within 20 minutes.
When to Drink PREPARE?
In general, it is recommended that PREPARE be consumed:
- The evening before surgery (2 packages of PREPARE), and
- The morning of surgery (1 package of PREPARE up to 2 hours before anesthesia).

Who Can Drink PREPARE?
PREPARE is indicated for all elective surgical procedures unless otherwise contraindicated.
Please refer to the ERAS®* Society guidelines for procedure-specific recommendations.

Precautions & Contraindications
- Not suitable for individuals with delayed gastric emptying or comorbidity that affects gastric emptying.
- Not for intravenous use.
- Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
- Not suitable for individuals with type 1 diabetes.
- Not suitable for use in children under 1 year of age.
- For use under medical supervision.
- Not suitable for individuals with a corn allergy.
